Indian children dive into the river Dhansari to cool themselves on a hot afternoon in Dimapur, India’s north eastern state of Nagaland. Many parts of Indian state are experiencing temperature above 40 degree Celsius, effecting normal life as temperature rise with the onset of summer.

You captured the jump very well, Caisii, and have caught the child nicely against the sky. I assume the rock on the right is where the child jumped from. For this to convey diving into the river, you do need some more of the river showing in your frame, and I think you could have achieved this with portrait/vertical format.
