Looks like he's got his knitting pattern from the same place as mine did.

Ian Pembroke identified mine as an Araneus diddemtaus - but don't ask me to pronounce it - and this looks identical to it.

Great clear sharp shot as always.

really good.I have tried to shot a spider in the back garden but just can't get this critical focus,well done.

found your site from another, you haven't posted for some time which is a pity, like this, and your other close-up shots, guddun, Excellent pic of the spider, orb I think, against the sky.
