Todays Sunrise

By calemdon
It wasnít looking to promising this morning for a good sunrise, but is there really one that isnít? This picture was taken on the shore halfway between the rail and the road bridge. The tide was nearly out allowing me to position myself on the rocks you see in the foreground. The sun rose and I got about 5 mins of intense red and then it was gone. The clouds were breaking nicely before the sun rose which allowed the colours to show through.

I totally agree - every sunrise is beautiful, in its own way. It's a wonderful gift that most people never take the few moments that you need to appreciate it.

Wonderful setting, and lovely colors!
