Disconnected in Eriskay. This was the MacIsaac family home on their croft on Eriskay, the house has now been empty for many years. The house served as a happy family home for decades but as with all houses there is a lot more to discover when you delve into their history. With no lighthouse in the area, the fishing boats out of Mallaig would use Mrs MacIsaac's porch light to guide themselves into the safety of Eriskay harbour when the seas got rough in the winter nights.

Marvellous story from the Islands Ian, I hope to get back to Eriskay soon, out with the school holiday season. BlushBlushBlush
