    It's OK, this is a bumblebee and not at risk. It's the honeybees that are affected by varoa, nosema and insecticides. The main problem for bumbles is the change in farming procedures that affects the pollen they can gather.

    Thanks Dudler for commenting. I'm glad you like it, it looks like I have achieved the feel I wanted.

    I haven't put anything into the critique site since 2nd April, I have just been uploading for fun since then.

    The file size is limited because as a non e2 member I can't upload large files, I think both the number of pixels and size is limited, though I can't find by how much.

    I didn't notice the lack of tonal range, I will work on that. I shoot in RAW with small JPEGs and made this from the JPEG files, it's probably worth working on the RAWs to produce a larger file with greater tonal range.

    Urbino is a lovely little town by the way and well worth a visit.
