Dar coast

By CamelTrophy
Again in Tanzania - too easy to find scenes that evoke a thousand memories - taken at dusk - CS2 added moon, which I took on another safari (mine was out of focus too much - pants!) - mist on water is genuine. Boys are genuine - location is genuine, boat is genuine - light has been adjustd using 'curves' by a tiny amount to give it more depth and lustre. and a colour gradint was added in a separate layer then gradually taken out using opacity.

difficult one. It's great with the moon, suppose it's also great without. So maybe you should have stuck with the real one. But it's a winner anyway. the silhouettes are great, the fishing net in the foreground tells everything that needs to be told, and love the little boat in the bg

Thanks - you're right but the 'real moon' shot was a bad pic technically. I always try and get the best pic before using CS but on this occasion it rescued me a tad Smile

The moon looks a bit false - pity cos it's a great shot.

Think I would like this without the moon at all, but I quite like the other worldliness feel to this one.

Think this would look better without the moon. Perhaps a bit of cloning to simply remove the original and leave the shot 'moonless'? The rest of the shot is simply stunning.

Beaten to it, but would definitely look better without the moon - looks to sharp for me compared to the rest of the shot.

Agree about the moon, but the rest of the shot has potential. Personally I would have liked to have seen a bit of space beneath the feet of the boy in front, but that's just me, and doesn't stop me from liking this shot a lot.

I love this shot - but without the moon too I think. The colours are fab. Great!

Hmmmmm....I would appear to be in the minority here, I actually like the moon and think it adds to the atmosphere.
Still what do I know?

This is stunning, love the moon (although it does look a bit unreal !) but would like to see more space at the bottom. This shot just sums up Tanzania to me !!!
