Phonebox in the Glen

By CAMRABAG
This Red british phone box stands in the centre of the great glen, in the highlands of Scotland.
After driving through the great glen, looking at the wonderful Scottish countryside, turning a corner your eye is hit by this large red box?

Excellent. Love the juxtaposition of the bleak highlands with a city centre object. Well done.

Love the incongruity of this image, a good idea which could be even better with a little re-composing. It's the sort of image where the 'rule of thirds' would produce a stronger composition, ie. putting the kiosk on one of the thirds (preferably the left but by no means essential). By taking two or three steps to your right would also stop the fir tree appearing out of the top of the kiosk. Processing wise, if you have the means then I would have cloned out the bit of rubbish bottom left, and the telegraph wire. Hope that doesn't sound too harsh, but just some simple pointers to make a well-conceived idea into a very good image.

great to hear the comment, I have a number of changes to this image this is the whole one, I agree the image would look better without the rubbish, but I have to say "it was there on the day" people need to no that rubbish is a blight on the countryside, sorry if that sounds like a cop out, but i will publish a second one soon, thanks for the interest and comment.
It was not to harsh, I liked the interesting way you feel the photo would gain inpact.
Kind regards
