I'm a retired teacher, enjoying the time I now have to take my camera for a walk. Always enjoyed the outdoors, and must have walked past thousands of amazing scenes beside rivers and lakes, around the coastline and on hills and mountains in all seasons, but in those days I didn't have an interest in photography. When I retired I invested in a 7D and a variety of lenses, and am now revisiting many of the places I enjoyed in the past. Digital is wonderful - take hundreds of shots on a day's shoot, and hopefully end up with a dozen ( or more! - lol ) that are really good. ( at least I like them.) My main area of interest would be wildlife shots, but I wish they'd stand still a bit longer. Anyway, I'll keep practising, and someday I'll get my perfect shot - an eagle on a rocky crag, a kingfisher rising from the water with a minnow, etc.
