I had forgotten about this one - another shot from the 2010 SAM35 Gala at Old Warden. Like my shots of the Cherub seen there, it was taken from a distance and I don't know whose the model is. I managed to catch it just after it came off the towline. (The previous shot, which showed it with the towline still attached, was not sharp enough to satisfy me.)

The Caprice is a very popular design among SAM35's glider flyers. It was kitted by KeilKraft in the 1950s.

I have got one of these tucked away somewhere, I would spend many a happy time on Cleadon Hills chucking it into the sky and watching in soar on the thermals.
