How to Photograph Lorikeets

By Canonshots
Three months after my house move I am at last getting the pictures from my trip to stay with my son in Australia sorted out.

This was taken at a Koala sanctuary where one of their stunts is to have visitors feed the Lorikeets. Participants in this actovity are each handed a feeding tray and the birds arrive in huge numbers. The gentleman in the picture is my son Chris, who has obviously done this before.

Not an easy accomplishment, I wouldn't imagine.
Holding both the camera and the tray sufficiently steady in each hand, to get a sharp shot
High ISO - high shutter speed and fairly middling aperture is the answer I suppose? Grin

Good shot of your son doing it though Wink
