how did I do

how did I doIf you like it then half the battle is won, Dennis Wink

Technically, nice and sharp but there are a couple of burnt-out areas on the face. No doubt that's down to getting the feel of your new kit and, judging by your PF, once you are familiar with it the results should be as good as the rest of your portraiture.

Think I would have preferred the background a bit more out of focus but you did say you were short on space so maybe not a great number of options available.

Aesthetically, I'm not sure about the pose. It feels a little cramped to me and I would have preferred the young lady to be looking at the camera (she looks like she has lovely eyes). Just my opinion - others will differ Smile

Overall, beats my first attempt with studio lighting hands down Wink

In the stream

In the streamLovely tonal quality and smooth, dreamy water. Not so sure about the composition, though. I would have shot more at an angle so the furthest end of the plank was roughly where it is but the closest end was more towards one or other bottom corner - probably the left. Also I would be tempted to try a slightly shorter exposure, resulting in a bit more definition in the water. Having said all that, I'd still hang it on the wall Smile
