Gone to seed

Gone to seedLots of lovely fine detail in this attractive image.
As you shot in raw there should be a few tweaks to add just a little more impact.
I have done a mod of some tweaks in PS raw, mainly the highlight, shadow and contrast sliders. It is all a matter of personal taste.Smile

Damn Reflections!

Damn Reflections!A very nice pan shot, good smooth tones. On my monitor the shadows appear a little dark. I have done a mod and noticed that the image had an 'Adobe RGB 1998' profile, this could result in a colour difference when viewed on the web. A sRGB profile is generally a good web choice. If you 'save for web' in your software this should be done automatically.

LonlinessA well seen oportunity, I like the idea and composition. As you have enabled mods I have done one. All I have done is select the back of the deckchair and with curves increase the effect of the strong sunlight shining through it. Cropped some from the sky and just a little from the base to focus the interest on the chair and shadow.
As with all things it is very much personal taste.

Two Huts

Two HutsDungeness is just so photogenic and these huts are among the best parts. The composition of the two huts is good, the sky is what nature provided on the day. If a sky is not to your liking then a change of pov to reduce how much is in the frame may help. I have noticed that some of your images have been commented on as being too dark in the shadows, this is as they appear on my monitor. I checked to make sure that I can clearly define all 16 squares on the step wedge at the bottom of the page. If the viewers monitor is darker or brighter than yours it can greatly alter what is seen. I did download your image and opened up the shadows a little, and like that it looks great. It did accentuate the slight lighter halo around the huts, but this was easily fixed.
I hope this may be of assistance, keep the Dungey shots coming, love em.Smile

Aylesford version 2

Aylesford version 2Nice mono, I particularly like the effect you have on the water. My only suggestion would be to lighten the bridge and foliage behind the bridge and tone down the houses on the right which are in the sunshine and stand out more than the bridge. I think this may make the bridge more dominate.

Brains and "No Brains"

Brains and "No Brains"Agree with the above comments.
Critique: The bottom left vegetation bright highlights are a bit of an eye puller, could be dulled down or cropped. A little dodge and burn on the tower, lighter lights and darker darks may give a little more pop.
A well seen image with the title unusually adding something.
