Dicentra Spectabilis

By capto
Grown in gardens on both sides of the Atlantic for generations, Bleeding Hearts, or Lady in the Bath as they are know across the pond, are the epitome of grace. The deeply cut foliage frames strings of finely formed blossoms like little garden twinkle lights.
I have a clump in the garden that always performs at this time each year. I did cut this stem for an indoor shoot, but there are lots more left for my pleasure in the garden.

Beautiful captured image Ivor. You sure know all the latin names of flowers. I also have one in my garden, and I only know it as Bleeding Heart. regards James Smile
