Just returned from Amsterdam, where we spent a few days, with mixed weather.

This shot sums up the typical skyline - two of the three buildings were more or less black and white anyway, but a final tweak seemed to give it more impact. I think the sky is a bit overprocessed but I'm just finding out more on the Curves feature.

I may, or may not, upload some more images from Amsterdam. You may not be surprised to learn that I took a lot of photos of bikes.....

Love the graphic feel to this. It works as it is for that reason - although you could crop a little sky without spoiling the general effect.

What a fantastic array of repeating shapes--well done in b&w. I love all the ornate parts!

We were in Amsterdam for a bit in February-- sky was grim then too!
