Colour version for me Carole, the mono looks a bit flat. For me, easily the best of the series so far Wink

Hi Carol.

The colours great but the mono could have been the best of both, martinw says it's a little flat. All needs is a bit of omphh, can I suggest tweeked the contrast to give the image a bit of punch and a full range of tones.

Thanks everyone.

Chris: I'll ooomph it again later! I already had done a bit, but obviously not enough. I haven't quite got the hang of really good B+W conversions yet. Nor, apparently, the settings needed to make the LB work properly!

Ollie: thank you for your message and I meant every word of mine. Thank you (publicly) for your advice. Also, a click from you on a LB image is valued highly!

Love the soft focus used here, I have a liking for mono portraits so I am going to go with version one.

I think the low contrast of the black and white version complements the soft focus nicely. #2 is a bit of a jumble of colours, for me.

I prefer the black and white too. The soft focus works so well in mono. A beautiful portrait.
