It's a good thing you don't have hay fever 'cos the pollen from this is supposed to be really fine. That's what my parents said, anyway. Over here when acacia trees are in bloom they seem to bloom at the same time. Which is interesting considering we have no seasons.

A beautiful sight to behold Carol. The seasons are truly bonkers over here as some blossom is already out in places and crocuses and snowdrops are in full bloom and have been for a couple of weeks. The weather has been really mild in the main despite the huge quantities of rain, we've had over a months worth in a couple of days at the beginning of January! Nature is confused as it thinks spring is here

I am well acquainted with this acacia (just a slight variant species "acacia arabica"), which is found in abundance in India.
Hats off for such a clear & sharp picture of the delicate hairy flowers...! Grin
