A super set on images here Carol. I saw many of these in Africa when walking through the veld. Nearly always seen because they flew a short distance as my walking disturbed the grass. I finally managed to get my images from yesterday uploaded. A

Very camouflaged indeed - I was trying to figure out what were legs and what were plant material?

Don't see many of these around Wakefield either! But I'd imagine these creatures are difficult to see anywhere, they're so well camouflaged! Wink I agree with Chris, it does look like it's carved out of wood...
