You like you isolated bug and limited colours. Love it, well worth the award. Great composition, tack sharp and perfect crop. Oh and the antennae acts as a leading line drawing your eye towards the main subject. Well done. Regards

Not very often you have to use a panorama to get all of a bug in shot.....

If these antennae were any longer you'd have needed to consider stitching some shots in a panorama, Carol: what an extraordinary critter, but as ever so well captured in fine detail.

V1 is brilliant, as a composition as well as a macro shot. I've commented before tht I like the way you compose these shots for the antennae, this is a lovely example. They seem to be exploring the far corners of the frame.
