another one bites the dust!

By CarolG
Not much of a day for bugs and insects yesterday as it was so hot, and they all seemed to be sleeping somewhere, but this little red-bodied spider caught my eye amongst the cistus in the hedgerow. Imagine my delight when I crept closer to find that it had caught an unsuspecting bee. It seemed oblivious to me and the camera, more intent on its dinner for the next few days!
