Very, very well captured Carol. super detail and colour, brimstones have been reported out in S.England and on the IOW, given a nice sunny day they will fly late Jan onwards.

Grr... very tricky but still I think Cleopatra. I think females don't have the orange checking the web so just going on wing shape.

Great shots though. I prefer the dark background as the other background is a bit distracting... but prefer the angle you have on the butterfly in that green backgrounded shot.

I don't think backgrounded is a real word however! Smile
