Now you're just getting annoying Carol Tongue

However I did see my first Brimstone yesterday even though I didn't get anywhere near it, so it looks like spring has at last finally arrived. It's going to be a tough summer for me this year in terms of chasing butterflies Sad I have to have an operation on my left knee, can't bend the damn thing without it dislocating and then locking up. At first the doctors thought it was a cartilage problem, but after recent scans it seems the problem is a lot more serious. It never just rains in this house, we always seem to get a monsoon. It's one of the reasons I haven't been doing much photography.

Well done on this one though Carol and I'm only a little envious about you loving in Crete Tongue

Such a lovely little butterfly! V1 & V3 are my joint favourites. Howling winds here - no chance any butterflies would be silly enough to be out and about!

Absolutely outstanding macrowork Carol, it looks like you've really rattled the Big O's cage and shaken him from his slumber! I'm sure the old warhorse will soon be primed up and ready for action!
