The light, details and colours are superb in these, especially V1. I keep saying I'll get a root of this lovely plant every year at this time. Somehow 10 years after I left it behind in my old garden, I'm still saying it! Grin

Nice shots of this Japanese anemone, Carol: we had some a year or so back but I got rid of it as it invaded all the other herbaceous plants around, roots spreading all over the shop.

Thank you so much Carol , I too was looking for the bug . I had mine all dug out as they had even invaded the lawn or so I thought ! This year I have two pieces flowering again ! When they have flowered I will dig them out & place in a pot. So lovely but so invasive ! Your images as usual are masterpieces . xx

Beautifully sharp and the stamen are crystal clear - we have these in our garden
