isn't she gorgeous!

By CarolG
I spotted this gorgeous little orange-bodied jumping spider amongst the bougainvillea yesterday, and spent about 15 minutes trying to get her to stay still long enough for me to photograph her. She was as tiny as the blunt end of a pencil, and I would have missed her had she not had such a brightly coloured body. I hope you like her as much as I do, she may be a spider, but to me a very beautiful and appealing one.

i agree gorgeous - those textures and colours are wonderful but gosh what a mix of emotions too - firstly she looked the size of a bird eating spider which makes me shiver and cringe like crazy - then the description of "jumping spider" - not good but i gradually calmed when you said she is the size of the end of a spider. stunning set of photographs, beautiful flowers and colours.
i shall however stick to money spiders - i'm cool with them Grin
