I don't think that anyone who has already commented is so anally retentive as to obsess on the background. It is what it is, the background to where you found this lovely creature feeding in the wild. I love all three shots, but particularly 1 & 2 with the extended proboscis on show.

If I have to choose I'll go with V1 but then again I like V2...I also like V3 ...just can't choose.

Who gives a flying log about the backgrounds Carol, it beats a next groundsheet or Debenhams bedsheet anyday!Tongue A fine set of close ups of this difficult to capture moth. I saw a couple of these at Sand Point a few weeks ago but did not managed even one record shot!
