let battle commence!

By CarolG
As it was raining most of yesterday, and no chance of any outdoor photos, I thought Id have a little fun with two bugs I found in the garden during a lull in the weather, a ladybird and a lygaeus equestris. Neither of them were in a photographic mood, I think they were intent on doing battle with each other, hence the title! The daffodil was one of the first to appear in the garden this year.

I have just spent nearly one hour uploading this image, looks like I'm going to be virtually without a connection today, so again, apologies for lack of clicks/comments. I hope to be back to normal again before too long.

Daffodils are definitely the precurors of Spring and such pretty things in their frilled skirts. Your photographic skills comde to the fore once again, with a really sharp image, well composed. Although I do think your bugs look a little uncomfortable perhaps because they are out of their normal habitat.

A super floral image as per usual, there are no signs of any daffodils here in Glos, they'll be late to bloom this year cos of all the snow and cold weather
