We do not really have an autumn here, and certainly not the wonderful changes of leaf colour that most of you see. The only noticeable change in my garden is the parthenocissus climber, which puts on a lovely display around November.
Parthenocissus derives its name from the greek 'parthenos' meaning 'virgin', and 'kissos' meaning ivy..............this climbing vine has the ability to form seeds without pollination. The english version is known as virginia creeper.
