Great shadow shots. Yes, he does appear more threatening in V2, but my vote goes to V1 today, Carol. Do like the detail and sheen on him and the curly stingy and its shadow - glad I'm not in its way GrinGrin

I'm sure this fine looking creature has its place in the ecosystem, and its unique shape does make fine shadows.

This fellow does look fearsome - aren't you ever scared?
I hope he doesn't sting his own shadow. As an young child I was once stung by a scorpion & I cried for the whole day (my mom told me). Better ward off these creatures from your homeSad. - Raja.

V1. I love the shadow on the first version. I was staying in a house in the South of France, came out of the shower to discover one of these on the floor to greet me! Frightened the life out of me lol

I do recognise this one Carol... We have them in the South of Portugal and they used to come into to my Grandmother house up in the mountain when it was too hot in the summer...They don't kill you but it does hurt a lot... I wonder how they got to your island... Clinging to boats that have docked elswhere perhaps...Good captures! IB
