This bee had found its way into my lounge and couldn't get out, and was becoming very weary. I encouraged it onto a little felicia bloom and took it outside, (with camera
). It fed hungrily from the bloom, and after a few minutes took off into the distance. The nearest identification I can find is thyreus histrionicus, or cuckoo bee, I wonder if anyone knows if this is correct or not?
