This has to be the most co-operative large white that I have ever photographed! I spotted her low down in the long grass, and she didnít move when I approached. I encouraged her to climb onto a flower, in the sunshine, which she was quite happy to do. I noticed that her wings were slightly crumpled, so I am guessing that she was newly hatched, and still drying off. She let me take numerous images of her, then I left her in peace. I returned to the same spot I had left her early the following morning, and she was still there! She again was willing to take part in another photo shoot, despite still having dew on her wings and when we had finished I held her up in the air and she flew away. I have quite a number of images of her to show you, which I will upload now and again, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed working with her.
