Baby Max

By vandalp
This is Max, he was born on the 12th October at 5am to second time mum Karishma, measuring Three Feet Tall and weighing 20 Stone. He is an Asian Elephant.
I love this shot as he kept slipping over in the mud and was trying to get up, but it looks like he is just sitting on the ground. All the other Elephants were taking great care of him. It was really great watching him in the paddock.
The weather was rubbish, thick fog at times but managed to get some ok shots in between the fog lifting
Thanks for looking.

Vanda! What can I say? This has so much 'aww bless' factor I'm afraid I just voted with my heart rather than the eye. And what is wrong with that say I? Smile
