Beautiful floral image and presentation, Carole: reminds me of those vintage watercolour flower prints which showed the intricate detail in the petals and leaves.
An image we can all aspire to.

All done in Photoshop and no vignette - took me ages and lots of layersSmile I still need to improve on it but it is a start and did achieve the effect I was looking for.

Excellent work Carole - I can't quite get the white layers thing just right yet!
The flower itself is gorgeous - such a vibrant blue.
Looking forward to more.

Beautiful flower, and I really like what you did with it.
I would suggest bringing back a bit of color on the very top leaf, it fades out a bit too abruptly. This is a wonderful image though, and really nice toning.

Works well with your processing Carole.
And thank you for thanking me for my time.
When I worked in the railway,I did get time and half for a Saturday, but seeing it is you,I will charge you nothing.
However,as I got double time for a Sunday,I will have to charge you a little something for tomorrows image.
And I do believe Monday is a bank holiday ?
You will need to get your cheque book out to make it worth my while getting out of my bed !!

Oh my word...first off, GORGEOUS hibiscus. My mum once had one called a 'blue hibiscus' and it was sorta this shade. Maybe tending more to lilac. But the flower was flattish, like a satellite dish.

Your processing has brought out such lovely detail in the leaves too! Lovely work Smile
