Taken Today

By Mavis
Had another lovely surprise today . After I'd been to Church Matt & Sylvia took me to Boyle Ardcarne Garden Centre. We had a delicious meal there and then walked round the massive Garden Centre . Just about everything you could think of .

So I found my Butterflies. I'd had trouble with my Sony Camera for 3 days wouldn't focus properly up close & then we found it was on manual focus . Put it back to Auto & it works a treat. Nothing touched or coloured just a slight crop on the left . So thankful it works , thought I would have to send it back. Smile Hope you enjoy Or you may enjoy the even closer view ?

Wow came down this morning to over 30 comments & clicks And two UA's Thank you so much Carol & Ann/Plucky filly .

So pleased you got the buttons sorted out!
The butterflies are starting to disappear so we should get as many pictures as possible to keep us going over winter.

That is a fine example.

V1 is a real belter where you have left more space in the frame. The details and colours are simply glorious in this close up

Echo Edís comment above. Beautifully captured in full wing. The yellow makes a perfect platform for this natural history shot. A feast of colour with that excellent defused background bringing out the best.

Beautiful colour, Mavis. There seems to be a shortage of butterflies around here, this year.
