Nice spot Darryl. Whilst we were on holiday last year my other half took some pics of the sunset through the bikes on the back of our camper. Does that mean that she is as sad/wierd as you? Wink

From a compositional pov I think I prefer v2 today. Grin

What a well spotted chance, Darryl; both images excellent with this unusual f/g silhouette to the morning light and colours.
Somehow V 2 seems a better balance with front wheels more obviously pointing the way.
I'd have been delighted with either though it mine.

You've found another great image from an ordinary scene, Darryl. Both cracking shots. v2, as Ronnie points out, has a slightly better ccomposition of the bikes but v1 is better for having the bikes in front of the brightest light. Not a lot to chose between them, excellent work.

Two excellent and very original shots, Darryl.

Great images Darryl
V1 is my preference probably due to the thumbnail on the phone looking like 2 metal
scarecrows. The sunrise sets them off brilliantly

Two bikes in silhouette in front of a sunset. Darryl you have a hell of an imagination to have seen the potential in that and it works brilliantly, well done mate.

An exception great example of observational and opportunistic photography, a very skeletal shape and form popping out of the warming sun, simply quite brilliant.

Both great Darryl - V2 slightly has it for me as the bikes point diagonally into the image creating leading lines to that fabulous sunset. Congrats on the award GrinGrinGrin
