A shot that captures perfectly just how beautiful nature can be, well done. Smile

  • Wild Flowers

This is a nice shot, I like the way the colour of the flowers and grass stand out against the flat colour of the archway and then the way the blue of the sea pops out from behind too, it kind of draws you through the arch.

  • Into the depths.

I am presuming that this was taken in the UK so thought I would have a look in my Collins complete guide to British Wildlife, sorry mate but there is nothing in there like it,I put a photo of a Green Bush Cricket on my PF and although that was fairly heavily speckled on the legs it was not as much as yours, even if it is showing its bum its still a lovely shot, well done. • Blue Flower

Thanks for the comment Paul, I took the photo of the flower as it was (leaning out of the side of the plant) and I didn't even think about doing it in portrait, after looking at your mod I agree with you that it looks much better,it is something else I will have to keep in mind next time i'm out and about, thanks again. • Just wanted to say thanks for your comments on my latest photo today,as I'm only just starting out with DSLR's I do find the technical terms a bit confusing but I'm learning everyday (hopefully) Grin,I've had the camera a while but felt I was out of my depth with it so used it only a little for a long time, this past year I have started using it more so hopefully I can achieve better results in my photos, unfortunately I can't afford something like Photoshop or the likes at the moment but hope to get it sometime soon, your PF is lovely and as someone else said on you site "it gives me something to aspire to,thanks again and I will look forward to any more comments you may have over time.

  • Your portfolio is incredible Loren, you have so much to look at that interests me such as the vivid colours and the way you seem to make each photo so interesting, your close up work especially as it is something that can hold you for a long time taking in all the detail from the shot,as a beginner I have loads of ideas and know the kind of shot I want to take but lack the experience (at the moment) to get em,keep up the fantastic work.
