Newark Castle

By Carrera_c
This is Newark Castle in Port Glasgow on the shores of the river Clyde. It’s been in a state of constant restoration for what seems like years now. This side of it is looking pretty good, unfortunately the other side’s just covered in scaffolding… and about a dozen gypsy caravans so it doesn’t exactly make a nice shot.

Quite a bit went into this shot, flash carefully balanced with the ambient light along with a bit of editing to clone out all the caravans and a few tweaks with HDR Efex Pro to set it off. So I hope you like.
