Quote:Another beautiful image! I would love to know the whole process that goes into making your pictures, has she been put there digitally? Was it as cold as it looks or do you have access to the hot house of the local botanical gardens? How many people assist (make up/hair etc) and most importantly do you need a fit old dud to carry your gear for youI would love to learn how and be able, just once in a lifetime, to make a picture like this! Oh, and I can make a really, really good cup of tea too!
Dave
Thank you Dave
Everything in my work is done in camera, absolutely nothing is added in digitally. It was very cold and the poor girl was ankle deep in mud and sinking fast! The pond was also very public so we shot early morning to avoid onlookers.
I often work with another photographer and we create the set/make up etc between us. At the moment I am studying for my Masters Degree in Photography but once that is over next year, I do plan to organize some workshops and shoot days- 25 Feb 2016 10:35AM

Imbolc
Quote:Absolutely gorgeous. I do find the bright lights grab my eye but the image is so stunning it doesn't seem to matter.
Imbolc is a Pagan festival that celebrates the 'return of the light'. The goddess Bridget is the bringer of light, hence the emphasis in the path of candles behind her- 1 Dec 2015 7:36AM

Duncan, just found your portfolio and what an amazing set of images you have in there, a lot of which are extremely underated.
Look forward to seeing more.
