Britney?

By carriebugg
More from the photoshoot with Nicola - I've had some lovely comments on the series so thought I'd keep uploading them for a while! My mum said she looked like Britney Spears in this one? I can see what she means actually! This shows that not only has Nicola got a beautiful face, but a cracking figure too! Let me know what you think!

Did you use the lens at a wide angle? the reason I ask is that to me, her head looks slightly too big for her body. Maybe she has got a big head, in which case you should work on a pose which doesnt emphasise it.
She is a lovely girl, but the reason she looks like BS is because of the eye make up. Not a class look, IMHO.

Thanks guys.

Martin - this one was taken at 22mm which may account for the distortion head to body ratio!

I think she is gorgeous. To me, she doesn't look like Britney Spears but she is beautiful, just the same. Smile The lighting is nice and the shirt is flattering. Smile

Carrie I just met this picture of yours and I felt to give you some help on it.
First thing is I noticed that you had used of a wide angle lens and for a portrait is a must to know that you need to use from 80mm above maybe up to 100 to 120 specialy out side . This ofcourse to avoid lens distortion . As you can notice carefully the head of the person is bigger than the figure and this is not nice if ofcourse it is not made oviouse exaggeration for purpose.
Secondly I bring out colour and eyes highlights with dodging tool closly on them. Also I smooth the red highlight by using selective colour tool . For this tool is to go image > adgustment > scroll down and you will see selective colour there. Carrie I hope you will see the differece on what I trying to say. If you need further information just ask and I will try to do my best.
