Lovely leaden sky, and water movement, Lesley, and you've even got a bird on a stick there!Grin

Like this a lot.. Lots of things to catch the eye, on what initially seems a minimal shot
Like the boat on the horizon.. Excellent composition

Great comp. Very moody and clever to catch both the bird and the ship on the horizon.

The darkness of the groynes is so atmospheric, they're like strange figures heading out to see.

I don't feel the lack of detail in the groynes is important, the silhouette effect looks good. Kind of that seagull to sit there for you, and I see the 16:45 tanker to Fawley was on time in the backgroundSmile

As you know, I love everything about this but I'm not too keen on those bumpy groynes (ouch). Wonderful dramatic sky, rich orange sand, LOVELY water movement, and of course that gull on the groyne (ouch again)...ooh, and that huge tanker type thing on the horizon SmileSmile
