A quick view of cattyal's recent activity.

  • Ledley

A belated thank you everyone and thank you David for your award Smile

Good news Fiona - you lucky thing! Names will come naturally I'm sure - something suitable will suddenly pop up.

When I lived at home we had a kitten called Piddles as she kept peeing everywhere Smile Her mum was called Puffles - not a clue who the dad was Smile

Ledley is a good looking chap and does have his uses ie. opening the bottle for me. However he also gets in the way somewhat which makes any attempts at doing a still life something of a challenge!

As for getting the cream - I bought some cat milk once - he showed absolutely no interest in it whatsoever............

Thanks everyone - apologies for the delay!

Thank you too to David and Adrian for your awards Smile

He is a good looking chap and a big one - I certainly know about it when he jumps onto the bed - well me - at silly o'clock in the morning!

Thanks everyone and thank you David for your award Smile

No Ledley pics taken this evening - he's been curled up on my bed all evening and now it's time for me to go and join him! I think he's going to find this house a bit chilly this winter so shall have to sort him out with some snug spots to sleep.

Fiona - I'm pleased to hear you've commenced on the hunt for a new cat - are you going to opt for the black chap? I always said I'd like a British Blue as/when I got a cat but I'll make do with Ledley for now Smile Who knows, one day his owner might feel well enough to take him back but he's staying with me for the forseeable future.

Thanks everyone and thanks David and Ray for your awards Smile

Ledley is very comfortable in front of the lights - sometimes he needs a bribe to get up onto the table but once there he'll stay put for ages.

Mike - I'll pop up a picture of the slight chaos in which I work - this photo didn't have the reflector on the right but otherwise it was pretty much the same. The softbox is a long thin one- about 8 inches side I reckon.

  • Ledley again

A quick thank you everyone- I will return tomorrow and say thank you properly but didn't want you to think I was ignoring you all!

    Thanks everyone!

I'll admit to a bit more luck than judgement on this one - I know that if he jumps onto the table I won't have long before he jumps off again. Fortunately the camera settings were ok as I'd just set it for the Rose I was going to photograph and all I had to do was swing the light round to point towards him.

  • A beautiful portfolio of images and I can only apologise for not clicking on more of them! Now if I had just a bit of your imagination I'd be happy but shall just have to settle for what I've got Smile
  • A wonderful and inspirational selection of pictures. And I particularly like your current profile pic Smile
