Bag

By cattyal
Well not the most successful session in front of the camera today results wise but useful in other respects, ie. background adjustments and lighting.

Not that pic illustrates what I've been messing about at - I was just about to take the tube off when I thought it looked quite nice off the shoulder so on went the bag for a few shots.

I was going to leave it in colour but it's a bit chilly round here and it seems that this year my hands are going to be a delicate shade of red Sad

So, fiddled and faffed and this is what I ended up with......

"bag lady" looking elegant in a "tube dress" love it. Let see some more poses in the "dress" and with a mask too. Find the flowers and "covered box" distracting.

Actually I've a few elegant real dresses knocking about somewhere - stashed in the back of the wardrobe I expect. Maybe I'll have to root them out but suspect they'll be about two sizes too big now!

The masks are tricky - none of them cover my face properly - maybe a new project for me is to simply make one myself that fits me - now that's an idea.......

As for the distrations - pure laziness I must admit plus I thought just me standing there like a lemon would be somewhat boring Smile

You do relaise Alison that you have started your own offshoot of YOUTUBE Smile I actually find this to be a very, nay, extremely elegant looking photo/image.

I do love this, but forgive me, as I don't want to sound forward, but do you HAVE to have a mask? You could just take a self portrait and let it be you? I am sure you don't have anything to hide.....

Thanks again folks Smile These fabric tubes will be used quite a bit - as they already have been - and happily are only about 2.50 from the car cleaning section in Wilkinsons - very handy Smile

I'm afraid I just can't really bear myself without a mask or bag. I do have a couple of unmasked self portraits in my portfolio but really don't like my bagless efforts. I guess I could always try again and keep my face in the shadows - I do have nice hair though Smile

The bag spoils it for me but otherwise would be an elegant image.

Stunning chasis being shown off again lass. You need to show your face as well though at some point

Finally I'm back and thank you all. I had vaguely thought of experimenting a bit this evening but quite frankly I've run out of steam so that can wait until another day. Maybe I'll have a rummage in the back of the wardrobe and see what I can find...

Ah the chassis is fairly decent most of the time - however the face is somewhat variable - one day I'll do one without the bag but I'll need a bit of time to get the polyfilla applied - might be a weekend job..... Smile
