Mask yet again

By cattyal
I didn't think I'd anything much to use from my last session with the dyed stockinette but on second look it's not so bad.

I had decided to try to make some long gloves and with the aid of a chopped up pair of tights and some toupee tape to stick it to my shoulders I cobbled something together. Not sure if it works or not - certainly in colour it just doesn't match the 'outfit' but not so bad once I've had a fiddle.

An appealing if somewhat mysterious portrait. Considered processing suits the feel of the image. The image works for me although I would also like to see this with the subject slightly moved to the right as you look at the frame (by shifting the bottom to the subjects left) so that the pose goes diagonally across the frame. Hope you understand what I mean.

Captivating.

The stare straight into the lens makes all the difference with this image. It has a slightly uncomfortable and unnerving feel to it....works excellently

Oops - sorry I'm late returning....

Thanks everyone - I can see what you're getting at Paul and shall take another look at the shots again. I can never decide what crop to do although generally can't see what I'm doing as the mirror I use for posing is a bit on the small size. Maybe I'd better get a larger one so I can actually see the shape I'm making a bit better!
