Ok I was going to do striped socks today but changed my mind whilst rummaging through my dressing up drawer and decided to try these legging things instead.

After yesterdays experiments I did try some more seated ones but they didn't really come out too well so I stood up instead - still with the 10-20 on the camera.

I'm trying a different background - I decided to wander off into the sunshine this afternoon and came home with 6 meters of white pvc tablecloth fabric (as the shop describes it). I'm using the fabric side and it seems quite decent - well at less than 20 for 6 meters I figured it was worth a go. Not as wide as my fabric but no creases to contend with. I did however have a bit of shadow at the top of the shot so blasted it with the burn tool and then of course hit the image with Lucisart Whyeth followed but lots of noise removal. I'll perfect what I'm aiming for one day - not quite there yet.....

I'll pop an alternative shot up with the fabric background

Yeah, very impressive. Very "pro" looking and like the burnout background....good find! Cracking shot!

v2 for the composition, v1 for the overall look, for me the creases on the background in v1 detract from the image at little.

great work

Thanks everyone Smile

I tried to get the same position as V2 when I reshot it this afternoon but just couldn't quite get it right. Probably not helped as I tend to move about pretty swiftly and constantly click away! I do have a mirror set up behind the camera but can't see a great deal despite it being a full-length one but it's better than nothing..... Oh and I suppose having the hat over my eyes doesn't help!

Thanks for the mods too - always useful to see another point of view!

The trousers are fun but do shed little silver dots all over the place - they're little plastic disks that don't seem to be glued on as well as they might but but there's so many of them I doubt anyone would spot the missing ones.

Both good shots, just to be awkward I prefer the pose in V2 (inc chair) but with the background of V1 Smile. I agree with Comma that the creases are distracting from the slinky outfit.

It must be difficult to do what you do so well without looking what you are doing! Wink
