The Pub

By cattyal
Not exactly a perfect shot tonight but I grabbed a few pics on the way home and at 5pm it's not wise to stand in the road for this one. The railings extend all around the corner so I pinned myself back as far as I could go but it wasn't quite as far as I'd have liked.

Maybe I'll get out early one day if the light is decent and try again.

As with my previous upload I did a pseudo HDR effect on one layer and then blended it down a bit - again not very subtle but I'm still just playing, experimenting and enjoying myself! Oh and yes, that is the shadow of my head bottom right!

Like it a lot, the one-way sign spoils the symmetry though!!

Love it, really nice and a great place (the pub) to show off the effect.

A late thank you everyone - and thank you Michael for the mod Smile

That one way sign is a pain though - I really can't see the point of it being there either (unless I'm missing something) and the pub would look much nicer without it. Hey ho......

This place was unrecognisable from the thumbnail, I must have walked past it numerous times. The Vine looks particularly impressive in this shot and the fisheye effect has worked perfectly.

Ah - that's the name of it - It was Coopers when I used to frequent the pubs in town, then Cactus Jacks and of course now The Vine - they keep changing their names!
