Part of the high street in town is being transformed. A whole row of shops was knocked down (I sooooooooooooo miss Tesco) - and a new load built along with a hotel too. Sadly I suspect most of the buildings will be either clothes shops or coffee shops and the route in this picture goes through to the Brewery which again is all restaurants plus cinema.

Certainly it's an improvement on what was there however on the opposite side of the road it's still a less than inspiring row of shops, bookies, McDonalds etc. They should knock the lot down and open up the view across to the church - now that would be nice.
