I had the day off today and went to Cirencester for a potter. Blimey - again it was rather warm so I didn't do the amount of walking I'd normally do so I just bumbled around the charity shops, up through part of the Bathurst Estate and then the antiques centre before returning home. It was just nice to be out without having to be home at a certain time or have to be somewhere - it was a totally selfish day .................

This is near the entrance to the estate - you can either walk up the centre section in the full blazing sunshine or, like me, take off to the right and walk through the wooded bit where people tend not to go and hear nothing but birds tweeting and squirrels scrabbling about.
