365 - take 2 - 356

I had a very lazy day today - well the sun was out, the sky blue and as I'm usually stuck in the office on sunny days I figured my time would be well spent sitting in the garden with a book.

Ok I did cut the grass, rip up some of the 'weeds' (pretty but taking over) and topped up the pond - and that was as useful as I got.

I did take a few pics of the flowers I pinched yesterday - I'm fortunate to be allowed to pinch goodies from the garden where dad is - it's always a bit pot luck whether they survive the journey home which generally takes me a couple of hours - but this time they were ok.

For a change I took the pics outside - I propped up my black velvet covered board against the lounger and snapped away - mostly they came out quite well. I have tidied up the background on this though - the sun was catching the pollen which was picked up when the board fell on the daisies - I should have cleaned it off first!
