It's been one of those days when very very few photos were taken. The day started all sunshine - so I snapped the spire of the little Minster in town. Then the sun disappeared and now it's raining - which is better than frost I guess.

Two versions today - the grunged one and the original - I think - well one taken at the same time................

Oh yippee......

So I get my trusty Sigma 50mm macro out to do some flower pics and yay - it's jammed up - well it'll extend about a quarter inch. Not fair - it was fine last Sunday when I was using it in the garden and has just been sitting on the table out of harm...

Contemplating upgrading again.....

Well I think I've narrowed it down to either the Sony A580 or the A35. The A580 has flexible spot AF Area which I absolutely adore on the R1 although the A35 has 15 local focus areas which is better than my current A350. I've been using the R1 ...

Shooting Sherlock...... Holmes

Just done a shoot for promotional pics for An Audience with Sherlock Holmes - took one light along - ended up doing everything by candlelight - eek! I've not downloaded the pics yet - digits crossed........
