Still trundling through old files to see what I've missed and then messing about with them - well it keeps me amused.
Another done with the Lucisart Whyeth - I've been debating wether to boost the colours a bit or leave it soft - can't really make up my mind so have left it alone for now.

This is beautiful. I'd like to try something like this myself. Think I might buy my wife some flowers at the weekend? But then again, she'll think I've done something wrong.......what a dilemma.
Very good clean graphic effect - fine in terms of colour for me - has botanists sketch/watercolour feel - perfect.
love it, but wouldnt mind seeing a comparison.lesley
Congrats on the HC, well deserved. helen
What a beautiful image
Colours look fine to me Alison, this deserves it's HC for all that lovely detail, excellent image, well done.
A quick hello and thank you everyone - I'll admit to just watching NCIS and it's the advert break
As you can see I've bunged a couple of variants up though admittedly the second version isn't much different from the first
Thank you for the HC too - much appreciated!
Congratulations on the well deserved HC, these are so beautiful and so delicate looking, very well captured and presented.
I like V1 & V2 for the subtle differnce in the colour of the petals, but the third one to me was a little flat.
All my anniversary flowers have died now, so am going out shopping tomorrow for loads & loads, I might even buy some food at the same time....
Back again - indeed Hilary the original version was somewhat lacking which is probably why it's been sat in my folder for so long being neglected. That's the beauty of this Whyeth plugin - that and a curves tweak suddenly brings otherwise less than wonderful shots into something half decent.
Very handy when there are no flowers to play with - I have a few tulips and they're refusing to open up at the moment.
Ah forget the food - the flowers are far more important I'm trying my hand at owls - off to the Barn Owl Centre tomorrow to try my luck
Oh yes Steve - go for it - show your good lady wife some of the flower shots on EPZ and she'll appreciate your reasons for buying some flowers I'm assuming of course that you've not actually done anything wrong!
Nice as is in V1
V2 for me.
wonderful, one of my favourites of yours. angi
Superbly presented images. Carol
Superb. Looks like a botanical drawing.
Wow, just like an illustration.
