Cardinal Beetle

By cattyal
This was taken on my last walk up the bridle path - last week sometime. I'd not had the most successful trip due to the sides of the path all being cut back to the hedges which was a tad annoying but just as I was about to leave the path and go back onto the road I spotted this single solitary Cardinal Beetle - and spent ages following it around the Cow Parsley Smile

Thanks everyone!

Paul - sadly when I went to the bridle path yesterday the area I spotted this individual had been cut back as well - I didn't spot anything madly exciting but hopefully that will improve! For now the garden will do though I shall still keep going for my walks!

Kate - one solitary individual was all I spotted - I'm sure will have been more hiding!
