It seemed......

By cattyal
It seemed like a good idea at the time - exasperation at getting not a lot done this evening led me upstairs in search of something to play with.

It might be odd - it might be hated but I like the combination and that's good enough for me!

Thanks everyone - I had other plans for the arrangement of this shot but it would have involved cobbling stands and clamps and stuff and quite frankly I just didn't have the inclination this evening. Maybe another day.......

Framed is the best place for this poor 'woman' - she's in dire need of an overhaul as Gerry has quite rightly pointed out Smile One day I'll figure out how to shift the make-up without ruining her and touch up all the duff bits. That said, she has a certain appeal in her current state too.

It could be fun to try a combination of her and me - when the room is warm enough to remove all the layers I'm currently wearing!

A truly artistic image. Reminds me of some early 20th Century Surrealist photography, Man Ray etc.

Excellent composition, intriging subject matter, and great tones.

Thank you again everyone - and a big thank you to you Nick for your Award. Very much appreciated - though I wish I had a mannequin as versatile as yours!

My afterthoughts drift off in all directions - not a clue why and by upload time I've only ever had a coffee!

Thank you Pete - a very pleasant surprise!

Oh Nick - I'm trying to figure out if I can split the legs on the mannequin so that they're a bit more versatile but still pu them back together again afterwards - not sussed that out yet......

Thank you so much for your award Stuart - who needs an RC with all these lovely goodies Wink

I have to thank the Freecycle network for this I guess - if it wasn't for that I'd never have found Linda Smile

Thanks Smile Linda is currently spread throughout the house at the moment - her arms are wrapped round a couple of spider plants here in the living room, her torso is at the top of the stairs looking down and her legs are currently a plant stand in the hall with big spider plants on top Smile Visitors might think I'm a little strange!
